M'sia Trip

This entry will be about the weekend which i spent in malaysia on 10 & 11 june.

"Malaysia truly Asia" <-- haha it just pops up my mind while i typed "malaysia". But 1st, i will side-track abit..

hee While waiting for my uncle to fetch us, our ex-neighbours and their grand-daugther (min hui) came and visit us. Min hui is so adorable. She seems to like me! haha i initiated to take picture with her and she happily nodded her head and puts on her sweet and innocent smile. I love huggable kids! They look so adorbale! haha

Don't you agree with me?? haha

My mum actually offered some nougats to her but her immediate reply was: "unhh i don't want.. i got no teeth!! i don't want!" *covering her mouth with one hand*

So cute right??? haha Her immediate reply was due to her recent visit to dentist where she extracted about 9 teeth!!! NOTE: She is only 5 years old! Come to think of it. I remembered i still have tooth coming off when i was in primary 3 or 4.. haha

Well, Min Hui didn't managed to get those loose teeth out from her mouth and her parents were worried that it might affect those that are growing out real fast and thus the extraction of 9 teeth in the end.

Anyway she still look so adorable without teeth! haha

Back to my MALAYSIA TRIP!

We had our dinner cum supper at our favourite BBQ Stingray stall! Didnt take any picture of other dishes as i was too engroosed to stuff myself with the stingray! hee

then i helped my grandmother to make "tang yuan". They looked beautiful! haha

"tang yuan" when its cooked!!

The main reason for this trip is to visit and pay respect at my great grandfather's (lao da in hakka) grave for the 100 days ceremony.

The "Golden Pig" (Roasted Pig) arrived not long after we arrived at my great grandfather's new home..
Lots of money for lao da!!!!

Everybody~! Most of them were standing there to enjoy the ambience haha while the rest were busying arranging food that were prepared for lao da!

Lao Da's new home!!

We found a "Stamford Raffles" lookalike!! haha nehhz.. he is my mum's tang di so he is my tang jiu!

**taa daa** the 2006 youngest hip hop dancer! hee ain't she cute?

Waiting for the ritual to start...

The "slaughtering" of the "Golden Pig"! haha

The "sending of money" session!

The ceremony ended! Mr "Raffles" was the first to grab hold of the "Golden Trotter" and happily enjoying it by himself! haha

Everybody started to AIM for food! haha many started to eat "bao" first, followed by "zhong zi" and lastly "fa gao".
NOTE: the above mentioned MUST be consumed in sequence! haha

Back to my lao da's place after that..

Mr "Raffles" started handing out his invitaion card to everybody for his upcoming house warming session.

His invitation card for my family... It reads "Na Du Dad's name, Na Ding Mum's name, Gong Zhu My name, Gong Zhu Sis's name and lastly Wang Zi Bro's name"
**in eng** "Datuk Dad's name, Datuk's wife name, Princess My name, Princess Sis's name and lastly Prince Bro's name" haha

As shown, the invitation card was hand drawn.
Most of the relatives thought commented that: "Oh the drawing looks nice! Is it drawn by your (Mr "Raffles") daughter (his daughter is 5 years old)??"

Mr "Raffles" replied:" Oh yea! Nice drawing right? My daughter can draw pretty well.. But those drawing on the cards are doen by me!! haha"

Relatives replied: "OHHHH haha we thought was done by your daughter wor!!"

Well, I quite like the invitation card done by a .. think 30 yrs old man! haha So cute! at least he put in effort to draw so that we can have an idea on how to go which i think we might not have any idea even after looking at the drawings.. haha
