Nokia 6280
finally!! i got a new hp yesterday! Nokia 6280

As usual, clever me always able to find fault with the hp within one day! muhahahahaha this time round the problem isn't that serious. And i really think that the Singtel staff abit dunno what to do with it but to offer an exchange for me.
*problem: the external memory card that comes with the package (guess is created by Nokia thou Nokia don't sell memory card, the cards are meant for their hp package only) includes many files (videos and songs which 98% can be seen but cannot be played.
Well, it really doesn't really matter to me that the files offered by Nokia cannot worked. But there is this 2%, a particular video file which did not indicate a cannot be played icon. haha
Thus as an adventurous young lady, i went to play the one and only video file in the memory card.
Well, nothing interesting about the video. Its a Nokia commercial about Nokia 6280 itself which lasted 2:01 minutes.
The faulty part comes in.
The minute the video ends, the hp will auto-restart by itself. I was "amused" by the stunt! haha and i tried the stunt like 4 times to confirmed that i was not dreaming. haha
*flashback of my history of hp: I never encounter any hp that needs not be exchange the following day! *common everybody gimme some applause!!* haha
Sigh.
I went on checking whether the video which i taken myself will have the same problem as the default video. Well, it didn't have the problem. Other features work fine.
In order to satisfy myself as a consumer, i went back to Singtel today to check with them about this "video that will auto-restart after it finsihed playing" problem.
I showed the staff that video and after 2 mins, he offered and exchange for me. haha
The story doesn't ends here!!!!!
The new hp has the same problem with the same video file! Well, since they already made an exchange for me, i decided to find trouble with Nokia instead! haha
The Nokia staff did not know what exactly is the problem too. They offered to
(1) retain the hp (1 day old but Singtel exchanged a new hp thus 10 to 15 mins old hp) and memory card for diagnosis.
(2) to reformat the memory card and see if the problem still exist.
I chose the latter.
Seriously, when a staff offer a customer a solution, the customer usually will assume that they will be able to execute the solution offered.
The staff took the memory card inside the "technician room" for like 5 mins and came back to inform me that they do not have the software to reformat and re-install the memory card yet.
*DOTZ*
Anyway, didn't made a big fuss over it since i thought i might be changing my memory card to a higher mb one. ($98 for a 1gig memory card)
JUST. my dad bought the same Nokia 6280 as mine. To my surprise, his hp does not have the problem that my hp encountered. I can seriously confirmed that the problem don't lies with the hp but the MEMORY CARD. (the staff change a new hp but not a new memory card for me)
Sigh.
