recAp on what i did yesterday.

ade asked me to go to her fren's fren's place to play the game known as the "Cashflow" game. anyone who have read the book "Rich Dad Poor Dad" will know this game cos the game is invented by the author if i remembered correctly. hmm thou i only read two pages of the book.. muahahhaa

Well, i would say the game is pretty fun! initially i was abit clueless cos i dun really know how the game goes about or how i could win the game.

the game goes like this.

there shld be 6 players and all the players are given a financial sheet or balance sheet which they will need to fill in with their names, occupation and their financial status.

the games actually includes some occupation cards where the cards will state the income, expenses like your mortgage, child expenses, miscellaneous etc, taxes and blah blah

the 6 players will choose their favourite occupation (players can have same occupation) and they will have to write all infomation stated on the card to their financial sheet.

the person to the player's right will acts as the player's auditor during break time and if he/she finds any mistake in the player's financial sheet, the player will need to pay $100 to the auditor.

Well, i chose Airline Pilot as my occupation. Attractive income with Attractive expenses! haha

all players will choose a coloured "rat" character to represent them and place the same coloured cheese on their dream place at the fast track (players will need to complete the rat race before going into fast track; only two diff tracks)

all players will first go into the rat race where you get to throw dice, move forward, pick card and etc someting like monopoly but the instructions on the cards are very lengthy. the cards will offer things like blah blah stocks whihc only you can buy at $10 or $20. you can choose to buy or not to buy it. things like a 3rm/2bathrm at $40k with cashflow of +$140 or -$100, ROI of 10% and blah blah.. seems confusing at first... the game is more "realistic" as compared to the monopoly.

players will need to buy properties to increases their passive income to be equal or more than their total expenses so as to get out of the rat race and proceed to the fast track.

the game lasted for 95 mins (four 20mins game with 5 mins interval). in the end, i lost! haha my sister won the game! interesting game!

i would wish to play again if i have a chance!! haha but the game is very expensive!! heard is abt 2 to 300 bucks!

went to the cheesecake house at siglap after the game. had strawberry oreo cheesecake and american cheesecake! *yummy* the place looks cosy too. sat on comfy sofa. hee
